Forums Rules Of Engagement
Forums established September 2004

You must register to use the Forums. 
Registration asks you for this information: Your name, date of birth, state, and zip code.
You will be asked at the end of the registrtion process to create a "username," it does not have to be your real name.
Consider a username name that reflects your interest in USAF aviation (e.g., KCtom, E4Bob, BombNavBill, Tyrannosaurus, CSOwilly, EWOho, Wizzy).


1. Anybody can read Forum pages. Be very careful. Be courteous and respectful.
-- If you are active duty:
--- First name (or call sign) and class number is about as specific as you should get
--- Refrain from placing addresses and phone numbers on forums
--- Do not expose your deployment status
--- Report any suspicious contact to your nearest OSI or applicable Homeland Securty or Law Enforcement office.

2. Report bad actors to me (AFNOAweb@cox.net). I have the power and the will to ban them.
3. Report inappropriate messages on the board to me, I can erase them.
4. It is ok to place the same message in more than one forum...just think it through.
5. Please sign with your first name, or nick name of your choice, with your graduating class
6. Please use complete and consice yet descriptive Subjects Titles for your messages ( aka -topics)

To register with Yuku.com (former EzBoard.com), you'll be asked to provide:  your name, date of birth, state, zip code, and to create your own a username and password. 
---- The Regisstration is process is to police the use of the system and encourage proper behavior.
---- Yuku.com offers are not connected to AFNOA.
---- AFNOA pays Yuku.com an annual fee for Forum services.
---- AFNOA recieives NO money from Yuku.com, its partners, or their promotuons.




** Sign your Messages with at least your First Name. (better yet, First name, Training base, and Class: Tim MA 83c05 )
** Usernames can be anything. The system limits usernames to letters, numbers, and spaces. Names may look like:

Privacy / Security

As mentioned above, Be very careful. Be very careful with your personal information and that of others. If you wish to keep a lower profile, choose a descriptive username rather than your real name, and sign your messages in a manner that achieves your level of comfort, yet lets others get a grounding of who you are. For instance, I may create a username for the forums as "GlobalNav" and sign my messages as Tim, Mather 83-05. Be safe, be smart, and enjoy.
